I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of Australia and recognise their continuing connection to the land and waters. I acknowledge the many atrocities that have happened in this country which have harmed their people and land. I support them in standing in their rightful place as protectors of this land. I pay my respects to their Elders past, present and emerging. I acknowledge the sovereign native tribes in the Gubbi Gubbi country where I live and work and honour that they are guided by the spirits of their ancestors. I want to do my part in supporting this land and it’s people, not just with my words but through my actions.
